The " HAWAII HANDY Andy" Program

 

I would like to introduce you to one of my free-services…the “Hawaii Handy Andy” program. In short, within two to three weeks following settlement and moving into your new home, my handy man will contact you and make arrangements to come by to perform several tasks.

Foremost all locks throughout the home will be re-keyed the same and you will be presented with all the new keys. No longer is there the fear of not knowing how many keys are floating around with previous owners, neighbors, and past tenants and the invariable need for two or three different keys to operate various locks throughout the home.

In addition, all existing smoke detectors will have their batteries changed. If the home does not have a smoker detector, one will be installed free-of-charge in all bedrooms, the hallway, kitchen and family room. If the home has natural gas, a carbon monoxide detector will be installed if there is not one currently.

Finally, when you move in, I want you to keep a list on the refrigerator of all those little things that you will invariably find after moving in that are in need of attention. In addition to all of the above, my Handy Man will do two (2) hours of free service such as weather stripping, putting up sun screens, painting, fixing doors, installing ceiling fans, and a host of other minor house maintenance chores that have been identified. If there are any materials needed, you will pay for these but the labor is included in the program and is free to you – as my client. If you want to contract for additional labor and projects, this can be done directly with my handy man.
